SEO Streams
Aggregated headlines from the world of Search Engine Optimisation

About

The SEO streams domain name was registered by me a while back, with the intention of making a feed aggregator site filled with the headlines of all of my favourite SEO-related blogs. I knocked a site up out of a feed parser I found, and never quite got around to finishing it - plus it was pretty kludgy the way it pulled/spat out feeds. Quite horrid in fact, and full to the brim with javascript which didn’t quite work as it should…

Finally today I have got around to making a newer, fresher improved version - based as ever with me, on wordpress and utilising the power of the feedwordpress plugin. Oh, and not forgetting its also heavily reliant on the xFruits ‘feed composer’ which I found a while ago and only got around to looking at today! Glad I did now - if you need to handle lots of feeds, or just want to make your life easier, pay them a visit. If it involves feeds, they can do it! Best of all, its a 10 second signup and free!

Of course I am assuming in this that the owners of the feeds I picked (basically a list of people I admire/learn a lot from) don’t mind their headline being featured here. I aggregate no other content than the title, and each title provides a link to their post. There is no ‘post page’ at all, merely a list if titles with attribution if your feed offers it.

All that said, if you would rather I did not repost your article titles, then please email me right away and I will remove your feed url!

The main aim of SEO Streams was purely to provide me an easy way of keeping up with so many different sites/feeds every day via the web, within a simple, clean design that worked and I actually liked!
